Not an empty diary.
A ready-made plan.

01 — What it does

The plan arrives ready.

Most apps hand you an empty diary and you decide what to eat all over again at every meal. YiYo builds a 7-day plan with set times and calories that add up. There is nothing left to decide when you wake up.

02 — What it does

Built around your life.

Do you work shifts, do you live in a dorm, do you have access to a kitchen — these are asked too, and turned into a day-by-day limit on prep time. If you have a desk job, you will not get a forty-minute oven recipe on a weekday.

  • Shift work
  • Dorm
  • Desk job
  • Working from home
  • Eating out

03 — What it does

Logging takes three seconds.

When you stray from the plan, photograph your plate or scan the package barcode. No scales, no notebook, no hunting for gram values — you just confirm the portion.

  • Photo
  • Barcode
  • Open Food Facts

Tell it once.
The rest follows.

The plan is not picked from ready-made templates; it is built from your answers. You state your limits once and every new plan is prepared around them.

01 — How it works

Tell it.

Age, height, weight, goal and your daily routine — a few minutes of short questions. Your goal can be losing weight, building muscle, gaining weight or maintaining.

  • Weight loss
  • Muscle gain
  • Weight gain
  • Maintenance

02 — How it works

Set your limits.

Your diet style, allergens, health conditions and the foods you dislike. Whatever you flag is left out when the plan is built.

  • Vegetarian
  • Vegan
  • Pescatarian
  • Gluten-free
  • Lactose-free
  • 7 allergens

03 — How it works

Get past the drop-off point.

For most people tracking ends on day three. Once you have marked every meal of the week, your analysis arrives on its own; on a monthly plan, next week's plan is also built without you lifting a finger. You set the meal, water and activity reminders yourself.

Where do these numbers come from?

Your calorie target is not asked of an AI. It is calculated on the server with published formulas. The AI only picks meals that fit that target — and what it picks is checked again.

Basal metabolic rate
A weighted average of the Mifflin-St Jeor, Harris-Benedict and Katch-McArdle formulas. The body fat percentage Katch-McArdle needs is not asked for; it is estimated from your height, weight, age and sex.
Daily requirement
Your basal rate is multiplied by the activity factor you select — between 1.2 and 1.9, from sedentary to very active.
Calorie deficit
Set at 15–30% of your daily requirement; the higher your weight, the larger the share. The deficit is capped at 1100 kcal a day. Your target never drops below 1200 kcal for women and 1500 kcal for men aged 19–64, or 1100 and 1400 kcal from 65 on. Under 19, a separate calculation is used and the deficit stays within 10%.
Calorie check
When a plan is generated, each meal's calories are recalculated from its protein, carbs and fat; a gap of more than 50 kcal is corrected. If a day's total is more than 15% off target, the calories and macros of that day's meals are scaled by the same factor to hit the target.

Every plan the AI produces is checked again on the server: if it misses the calorie target, it is corrected; if a meal does not fit that day's prep limits, that meal is regenerated.

Photo and barcode results are estimates; you always confirm the portion yourself.

Is it right for you?

If you follow a diet style

Vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free, lactose-free. The plan is built that way from the start.

If you have allergies

Gluten, lactose, egg, shellfish, fish, nuts, soy. Whatever you flag is passed to the AI as off-limits; still, check what goes into each meal yourself.

If you have a health condition

You can flag diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, coeliac disease, Hashimoto's and kidney conditions; they are taken into account when the plan is generated, but the result is not a medical diet. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have kidney disease, diabetes treated with medication or insulin, or a history of eating disorders, use YiYo under the supervision of a doctor or dietitian.

If you have no kitchen

If you eat out, if your family cooks for you, or if you can only cook at weekends, the plan comes accordingly.

If you have never tracked calories

The app does not leave you staring at an empty screen; it explains what calorie tracking is and how it works during setup.

If you do not want to give up the food you know

You choose Levantine and Turkish, Mediterranean, Western or Asian cuisine; meals come from that frame.

Setup takes a few minutes. Your first weekly plan is ready right after.

What you might be wondering.

Is it paid?

No, it is free. Every feature is unlocked — no subscription, no locked features, no ads.

Do I need to buy a kitchen scale?

No. The meals in the plan come with their portions. When you eat something outside the plan you photograph it or scan the package barcode.

How accurate are the calorie values?

They are estimates. Photo analysis and the barcode database are not exact; you always confirm the portion. Treat the numbers as a direction, not a precise measurement.

I am vegetarian / vegan / gluten-free — does it work?

Yes. You choose your diet style and allergens during setup, and the plan is built around them. If you have an allergy, still check what goes into each meal.

I have a condition such as diabetes or coeliac disease.

You can flag these conditions during setup and they are taken as input when the plan is generated. But YiYo does not give medical advice: talk to your doctor or dietitian before changing your diet. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have kidney disease, diabetes treated with medication or insulin, or a history of eating disorders, use YiYo only under their supervision.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes. Your plan and daily tracking are also stored on your device, but for now you need a connection to open the app and sign in, to generate a new plan, and to analyse photos or look up barcodes.

What happens to my data?

Data is kept primarily on your device and backed up to your account. The photos you take are not stored — they are analysed and dropped. You can delete your account and all your data from inside the app. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Is it on Android?

iOS only for now. The Google Play version is coming soon.

Start today.

Free. No subscription, no locked features, no ads. The moment you finish the questions, your first weekly plan is ready.
